I've been using the Unscented Alcohol-Free Styling Gel for about 2 years now after previously using a scented, synthetic curl cream from another brand. The Carina Organics gel is my no. 1 hair product and I have no plans on ever switching! It is very lightweight and weighs my hair down much less compared to my old curl cream. It's also cheaper! I buy the 1 liter size and it lasts me 10-12 months. I'm also sensitive to scents and it's so important to me this gel both works and is unscented (you're sleeping in bed with this gel in -- and a scented product means you breathe it in all night, every night). I also love how it's all natural and free of carcinogenic chemicals that almost every other brand seems to have. The hold on this gel is not the firmest, so I sometimes do need to reapply between wash days, and occasionally also I need to re-wet with more gel on a wash day after my hair dries, but overall it gives me great volume and definition. For someone with type 4 hair though, you probably need something firmer. However, if you have type 2 or 3 curls, particularly with fine hair that is easily weighted, and are looking for an all-natural and unscented product that you know won't damage your health, I cannot recommend this highly enough!!

I love this styling gel. I’m very sensitive to fragrances and many products. This gel is great and keeps my hair soft and doesn’t irritate me at all. My hair is very thin and this gives it more body. Helps keep it looking nice all day, especially when it’s humid out.
